Sheep Electrical Service & Solutions was founded in 2024 by Jeffrey P. Mouton, who combined his background in hospitality with extensive training in the electrical trade to create a customer-focused service experience that truly stands out for homeowners and businesses.
Beginning in 2004 during his college years, Jeffrey gained valuable experience working at some of New Orleans’ most esteemed establishments, including Rubenstein’s, The Windsor Court, and The Soniat House. There, he received top-tier training in luxury-level customer service, catering to high-profile guests such as celebrities, foreign royalty, and even the President of the United States. Over more than a decade, he refined his ability to anticipate and exceed the expectations of discerning clientele, earning recognition for his exceptional service.
Driven by a desire for a new challenge, Jeffrey returned to a lifelong passion that began in childhood—taking apart electronics and building remote control cars. This early curiosity led him to pursue a career in the electrical industry. In 2012, he joined the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) Local 130 as an apprentice. Over the next five years, he completed 1,200 hours of classroom instruction and 8,000 hours of hands-on training through the National Joint Apprenticeship and Training Committee (NJATC). In his third year, he successfully passed the journeyman exam and became a licensed electrician in 2015.
With more than a decade of hands-on experience, Jeffrey has built a reputation for excellence across every sector of the electrical industry. His work ranges from high-voltage industrial installations at critical facilities such as NASA and the New Orleans Sewerage & Water Board, to large-scale commercial projects like the University Medical Center. He has also delivered dependable, detail-oriented service to homeowners throughout Jefferson Parish and the Greater New Orleans area—consistently upholding the highest standards of safety, precision, and professionalism.
